There is no one single cause for cancer. Scientists, doctors and researchers believe that it is the interaction of many factors together that produces cancer. Even though we don't know what causes most childhood cancers. A small percentage of cancers can be linked to a genetic disorder such as Down syndrome, other inherited genetic abnormalities, or prior radiation exposure.
